Electronic Engineers Required

Smiths Detection Ireland is a newly formed offshoot of Farran Technology and a subsidiary of Smiths Detection. Smiths Detection Ireland is developing a range of mm-wave based imaging products for the security market. We are currently recruiting a number of electronic/system engineers to work on the development of a portal imager for use in airports. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a challenging project and participate in the building of a high quality R & D team.

Candidates should possess

o Degree in Electronic engineering with a first class or second class honours grade 1 qualification

o An interest in and understanding of basic electromagnetism

o Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB Experience with RF simulators such as ADS or Microwave Office would be an advantage.
